River System Monitoring |
|
Description |
This project is an optional module for a
total process control system developed by Toshiba in their Power Plant projects. The
project is broken up into three different applications.
- Water level/Flow rate monitoring module: Water level data in the dam and water inlet and
discharge volume/flow rate of dam and river are entered to be compared with predetermined
monitoring limits. The operator is notified of an abnormality and restoration to normal
status.
- In-flow water/Reservoir status monitoring module: Supervisory Value data on the power
station are entered and monitored. When abnormalities are detected, the operator is
notified of them.
- Water intake status monitoring functions: Supervisory Value data on the water intake
status at the major intake points of the river system are entered and monitored.

displaying graphics panels for process control systems. This powerful package creates
panels in off-line. The Graphic Online Server Packages are used to display these panels as
on-line. It acquires field parameters from various points and shows them in pre-defined
format as configured using GRAB. Both support animation of specified objects depending on
the value of he field variable associated with it. Various forms of graphical displays of
field variables like bar, trend, zone display, tank level, etc. in addition to the general
